Crispy fried okra recipe

This crispy okra dish compliments a good beef dinner served with a baked potato.

Ingredients:

16 oz package of frozen okra (or fresh cut okra)

1 large egg

1/4 cup all purpose flour

1/8 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 cup Olive oil (or vegetable oil)

Directions:

Mix the okra with the egg, flour, salt and pepper. Pour the entire okra mixture into a large frying pan which is preheated with the oil.

Fry on medium high heat turning okra as you cook to brown on all sides. It will be done when its crispy brown and fried.

Serve as a vegetable side dish.
